The base plate and wheel arches

I first placed the base plate on the subframe and adjusted it. You can see how I incorporated the slope of the rear into the plate in the following video:

The original wheel arches of the THW (German Federal Agency for Technical Relief) vehicle were designed for dual tires. Since I switched to single tires, I no longer needed the full size. So I cut off the wheel arches, which are made of thick sheet steel, and now use a smaller version.
