Ultimately, we decided to bring El Bicho here with a van. €1800 for transport from Hagen to Campo de Gibraltar in southern Spain seemed quite reasonable; with all opportunity costs, we probably would have ended up spending about the same amount if we had driven it ourselves, but we would have run the risk of breaking down on the motorway.
After a good week's journey, a Polish transport company delivered our truck right to our doorstep.
