We decided to use wood as the top layer in the cabin. Tongue and groove boards are lightweight, weighing only 3.5 kg/m², and are poor conductors of heat, ensuring a pleasant indoor climate. They are also very easy to work with, and any scratches can be easily sanded out. Opinions differ on the aesthetics; some like the look of wood, while others scoff at the "sauna look." If we ever tire of it, it can be easily painted or stained.
